Boston Metro wins 6 golds at 2016 Yonex Boston Open
Once again Boston Metro had great success at the 2016 Yonex Boston Open. In the Collegiate events, Boston Metro claimed 3 gold, 3 silver and 7 bronze medals across the 5 events. Both the ladies singles and the ladies doubles finals were purely a Boston Metro affair with Marianne Aellen and Angela Lin battling out an epic singles finals, before Marianne prevailed 16-21, 21-15, 24-22. The ladies doubles final followed a similar script with Marianne Aellen and Mengting Qiu defeating Angela Lin and Judy Chang in 3 games, 21-15, 20-22, 21-11. Angela teamed up with Michael Lin to win the mixed final, once again in 3 games, beating a pair from University of Laval 19-21, 21-12, 21-14.

In the senior events, Daphne Chang claimed her fourth successive senior ladies doubles gold along with her 6 successive senior mixed doubles title. Neil Davies and Marc Lai claimed their third successive mens doubles crown.
